HISTORY OF THE RENAULT CAPTURE (2013 – 2019)

The Renault Capture is a vehicle todocamino belonging to the B-segment manufactured by the French car firm Renault.

This vehicle started to be marketed in the year 2013. Was officially presented at the Geneva motor show. It began its production with 300 units a day, but seeing the great reception that took a few months, in 2014 produced up to 5600 vehicles weekly.

The Renault Capture (2013 – 2019) features a front-engine transverse, front-wheel-drive and a body of five doors.

This model uses the same platform of the Renault Clio IV and is manufactured in Valladolid.

The Capture replaces, indirectly, to the minivan Renault Modus, and, among its direct rivals are the Citroën C4 Cactus, Fiat 500X, Opel Crossland X, Opel Mokka, Mazda CX-3, Mini Countryman, Nissan Juke and Peugeot 2008.

The Renault Capture is, in all its variants, a help system at the start assist and cruise control.

The vehicle has three lines of equipment: Life, Intens and Zen.

THE ENGINE OF THE RENAULT CAPTURE (2013 – 2019)

The Renault Capture (2013 – 2019) is available three petrol engines and two diesel engines:

- Fuel:

• 0.9 TCe 90 HP with a manual gearbox 5-speed.

• 1.3 TCe of 158 HP with gearbox 5-speed manual and automatic 8-gears.

• 1.2 TCe 120 HP with gearbox 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.

- Diesel:

• 1.5 dCi 90 HP with a manual gearbox 5-speed and 6-speed automatic.

• 1.5 dCi 110 HP with a manual gearbox 6-speed.
