HISTORY OF THE PEUGEOT 4008
The Peugeot 4008 is a crossover SUV subcompact of the French brand Peugeot.
The vehicle was unveiled in march 2012 at the Geneva motor show, along with the Peugeot 208. Sales 4008 began in April of that same year.
Its design was based on the same platform as the Citroën C4 Aircross and the Mitsubishi ASX.

The Peugeot 4008 is a SUV with 4x4 drive system that is designed to run primarily on asphalt. For its price it is similar to the compact SUVS so-called ‘premium’, being more expensive than the C4 Aircross and the ASX but with more standard equipment.
This vehicle has an exterior length 30 cm shorter than the Peugeot 4007, but has managed to have a good habitability in your interior since it is spacious for four passengers. The trunk has a capacity of 442 litres in the versions that carry kit, repair flat tires and 416 litres in those with spare wheel.
The Peugeot 4008 has a built-in all-wheel drive system pluggable. The union between the axles (front and rear) is performed with the help of a multiplate clutch, which is controlled through an electronic control unit. In the center console, we can find a controller to circulate that gives you the option of choosing between the programs 2WD, 4WD and LOCK.
