HISTORY AND DESIGN OF THE PEUGEOT 307 CC

The Peugeot 307 CC is a car C-segment produced by the French car firm Peugeot went on the market in the year 2004.

The platform of this car is an updated version of the Citroën Xsara, which, in turn, improved the Citroën C4.

The Peugeot 307 CC, a cabriolet with a retractable roof metal two-door and four-seater. Account with a few measures of 4.36 m long, 1.75 metres wide and 1.42 meters high.

With the roof is deployed, the boot features a capacity of 350 liters, and when it is folded up it has a capacity of 204 liters. Such a roof is opened or closed automatically at the flip of a switch.

The Peugeot 307 CC introduces some new features on its equipment, as a system of assistance in the parking lot, CD radio with six speakers, browser with two types of screen, lighting, assist and stability control.

With respect to safety, the Peugeot 307 CC incorporates an arc of safety behind each rear head restraints. Also adds a few side airbags that protect the head and torso.

THE ENGINE OF THE PEUGEOT 307 CC

The Peugeot 307 CC was released with four petrol engines and four diesel engines:

- Fuel:

• 1.4 75 CV.

• 1.4 16v 88 HP.

• 1.6 16v 109 HP

• 2.0 16v 136 HP, 140 HP and 177 HP.

All of them are available with five-speed manual transmission.

- Diesel:

• 1.4 HDi 68 CV.

• 1.6 HDi 90 HP and 109 HP.

• 2.0 HDi 90 HP and 107 HP.

• 2.0 HDi 16v 136 CV.

All of them are available with five-speed manual transmission, except the 2.0 HDi 16v has a manual six-speed transmission.
