The Peugeot 2008 is a sports car belonging to the segment B.
This car came out to the market to replace, indirectly, to the family version of the Peugeot 207.
The prototype of the 2008 is presented at the beginning of 2012 at the Auto show in Beijing. Then would make a more realistic version, called the Peugeot 2008 Concept, at the Paris motor show at the end of that same year.
The Peugeot 2008 is manufactured in France for the european market, and in Brazil for the Latin american market.
The first generation 2008, it began to market the may 20, 2013.
DESIGN OF THE PEUGEOT 2008 (2013 – 2016)
The Peugeot 2008 measured 4,16 meters in length, 1,74 of width, and 1.56 height. It has an engine in the front cross, front-wheel drive, five-seat and body of five doors.
The trunk has a capacity of 338 litres, increasing to 53 litres the boot of the Peugeot 208.
In its interior it has a 7-inch screen on the dashboard, from which you can perform most of the settings of the vehicle.
The Peugeot 2008 has a climate control series in the finishes Allure and Cost, and optional on the finish Active. This climate control is dual-zone, and has good capacity to cool the vehicle.
THE ENGINE OF THE PEUGEOT 2008 (2013 – 2016)
The Peugeot 2008 has five engines available to choose from (two diesel and three petrol). In diesel find the version 1.6 BlueHDi of 99 HP and 120 HP; and in gasoline, we have the version 1.2 PureTech 82 HP, 110 HP and 131 CV.
All engines are linked to a change five-speed manual, except the 120 and 131 CV that are equipped with one of six.
Versions diesel and petrol 110 HP and 131 HP have the system Stop & Start of the series.
