The Nissan Primera is a vehicle belonging to the D segment produced by the japanese manufacturer Nissan. Its production was from 1990 until 2007. It is a tourism five-seater front engine cross-section and front wheel drive. All generations exist with the body four-door sedan, liftback, five-door, and family five-door.
HISTORY OF THE NISSAN PRIMERA (2002 - 2008)
Manufacture gave in Sunderland, England, and Japan. The Nissan Primera was developed primarily to cope to vehicles with a great boom of the era, as were the Honda Accord, Mazda 6, or Toyota Avensis. The first generation of the Nissan Primera was launched first in Japan with codes of chassis P10, HP10 or HNP10 depending on motor and drive system. A few months later was released to the european market since 1990 in the Uk, and then came to Spain, replacing the Nissan Bluebird. The vehicles were presented in versions 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback. The second generation, with code chassis P11-120, was released in Japan in 1995 and in Europe in 1996. This second generation suffered a small resideño in 1996 and another in 1998, respectively. At the end of 1999 he was given a major facelift, especially in the body and was called P11-144. The third generation, with code chassis P12, was produced between the years 2002 and 2007. Arrived to Spain in April 2002 with body, family, and Sedan. A few months later, they created the version of the five-door (which was sold only in the european market).
DESIGN OF THE NISSAN PRIMERA (2002 - 2008)
Models and trim levels varied between the models JDM (domestic Market Japanese, european and american (the latter being the receiving only those variants best-equipped and most comfortable). With respect to the previous generations, the Sedan grows four inches, and the Wagon seven. It is marketed with levels of equipment, Comfort, Elegance and Sport.
THE ENGINE OF NISSAN PRIMERA (2002 - 2008)
Within the gasoline engine of the Nissan Primera third generation, we find: a 1.6 109cv, a 1.8-liter 116 HP and a 2.0-liter 140 HP. On the other hand, in the diesel: the 2.2-litre 126 CV was replaced in early 2003 by a 1.9-liter 120 HP and a 2.2-litre 140 HP, both with direct injection with power by the common-rail.
